Jason Goldman
Principal

Jason is a third-generation insurance broker, building on the legacy of his grandfather, Richard Goldman. A fifth-generation San Franciscan, Jason serves on the boards of the Lisa and Douglas Goldman Fund and the Stern Grove Festival Association, where he contributes his talent for developing creative solutions. He is also an advisory board member at the UC Berkeley Center for Social Sector Leadership at the Haas School of Business. Jason graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy.

Matthew is a third-generation insurance broker, building on the legacy of his grandfather, Richard Goldman. A fifth-generation San Franciscan, Matthew sits on the boards of the Lisa and Douglas Goldman Fund as well as the Stern Grove Festival Association, where he contributes his talent for developing creative solutions to organizations. He is also an advisory board member at the UC Berkeley Center for Non-Profit and Public Leadership at the Haas School of Business. Matthew graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy.

Tom Burke
Chief Financial Officer

Tom is an experienced financial executive and entrepreneur with over two decades experience serving as CFO of emerging growth companies.  Previously he worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company and as a product-marketing manager at Apple. Mr. Burke received a BA (with honors) in economics and history from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Christine Schindewolf
Chief Growth Officer

Christine is responsible for sales and strategic growth initiatives including the development of a client experience that is unmatched in the industry. Prior to joining G2, Christine led executive business development at Marsh & McLennan Agency – West. Prior to joining Marsh, Christine was Director of Partner Development, Strategic Alliances, at ADP. Earlier, she worked for the strategy department and global CIO of Visa International. Throughout her career, Christine has had tremendous success building sales teams, creating unique service experiences and retaining clients.

Christine earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from San Diego State University.


Al Fine
Director of Risk Management

Al has worked in the insurance industry for more than 25 years, specializing in risk management. He focuses on providing the foundation for making more informed decisions about risk assessment and mitigation and is actively involved in exposure identification, risk appraisal, risk finance and program design processes. Al manages all of the non-transactional risk management services that G2 offers clients. Prior to working for G2, Al ran the Risk Management Account Practice at Willis San Francisco where he was accountable for the growth and profitability of that business unit. He is a specialist in alternative risk finance, mass tort and enterprise risk having run Marsh’s West Coast Alternative Risk Practice. In his past, Al worked as a management consultant, risk manager, insurance company global practice leader and broker. 

Taylor Boyle
Director of Operations

Taylor has worked within the finance and insurance industry for over a decade.  During that time, he has worked as a Portfolio Analyst for a hedge fund focused on global macro strategies, traded commodity futures for an international investment bank, and performed high level financial analysis, compliance, and operations at one of the largest insurance brokerages in the entire world. At G2, Taylor leads all of the operating functions of the company, such as IT, accounting, carrier/vendor/partner onboarding, financial analysis, budgeting, and acquisition due diligence.

Steve Dascole
Director, Personal Risk Management

Steve has been involved in the personal risk management industry for more than 35 years. He and his team of highly specialized experts provide risk management advice, comprehensive personal insurance reviews and placement of custom insurance programs for the unique needs of high-net-worth individuals, families and family offices. Throughout his career, he has held management-level positions for some of the most prestigious firms in the country, including Marsh USA, AIG, Willis, and Frank Crystal. He received his BS in Marketing and Economics from St. John’s University.

Debbie Obiacoro
Director of Commercial Lines

Debbie is a second-generation commercial insurance broker and has worked with major brokerage firms in the San Francisco Bay Area for more than 25 years. She has worked with clients in a wide range of industries with expertise in construction, real estate, non-profit organizations and retail companies. Debbie works closely with her team to support their career growth and development through mentorship and training. She is experienced in dealing with team building, strategy planning and process improvements that will help her team work more efficiently.

Martin Fox-Foster
Director of Claims

Martin works with a broad range of G2’s commercial clients. He has more than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, including as an attorney in London for a specialist insurance law firm acting as coverage counsel for insurers. He has turned this experience around and brings his considerable expertise to bear for policyholders to secure favorable coverage and to guide clients through the claims process from start to successful finish. Martin serves as a resource to G2’s clients, advocating on their behalf for a range of complex, high-value property/casualty, cyber and environmental claims. He also provides leadership in conducting in-depth contract and coverage reviews. Prior to G2, Martin was assistant vice president and claims advocate lead at Alliant Insurance Services in San Francisco. 

Todd McCormack
Director of Growth & Partnerships

Todd is responsible for sales marketing, partnerships, communications, brand initiatives and enhancing the client experience. With more than 25 years of experience, Todd’s well-rounded background offers clients the opportunity to experience a hospitality approach to the insurance industry. Prior to joining G2, Todd led sales marketing and brand initiatives at Lockton Insurance Brokers in San Francisco. He began his career in marketing for the luxury hospitality industry, working for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and Seabourn Cruise Line.

Catherine Chan
Director of Human Resources

Catherine is responsible for G2’s human resource initiatives, including onboarding, internal communication and training, and assisting managers with career mapping and pathing for all associates. She enjoys making connections with employees at all levels, helping to develop employees’ careers , and bringing innovative HR practices to the workplace. Prior to joining G2, Catherine led HR initiativs at several San Francisco tech companies.

Masha Keylin
Director of Marketing

With her background in underwriting, Masha enhances relationships with insurance carriers and advocates with underwriters on behalf of G2’s clients.  Prior to joining G2, Masha was an Account Executive in National Insurance at Liberty Mutual Insurance, leading the company’s relationship management with brokers and clients in the Bay Area. Masha also served as an underwriter at Zurich Insurance and an Account Executive at Travelers Insurance. Through her experience, Masha brings strong credibility in ensuring that our clients receive the best possible outcome from our carrier partners.

Jeff Cantieri
Director of IT

Jeff is responsible for all of G2’s IT systems. He implements and administrates all computer hardware and software including client portals, agency management system, Office365, phone system, Internet, computers, and printers/copiers. He is always looking to integrate new technologies at G2. Prior to joining G2, Jeff worked in a similar capacity at Fort Point Insurance Services.

G2’s “retro-radical” approach is rooted in our history: Founders Jason and Matthew are the grandsons of Richard Goldman of Goldman Insurance Services, a renowned Bay Area–based firm. For us, being deeply committed to our clients and understanding their unique challenges is not only our legacy, it continues to be our mission.

Richard Goldman spent much of his life founding and supporting organizations that help make the world a better place—from the Richard and Rhoda Goldman Fund to the Goldman Environmental Prize, and many others. G2 honors his legacy by continuing to partner with people, causes, and organizations that serve our community. Because we believe our success hinges upon the success of our neighbors.
